Personal Summary


David Cash is President of Autumn Trail Associates, Inc., and a founding Partner in The SOLiance Group. His focus of his consulting practice is to provide guidance to leadership in companies that are considering or already engaged in change initiatives involving Process and Quality Improvement, including Six-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing. His intent is to advise and guide clients in their pursuit of sustainable growth strategies for their organizations. David draws on his personal experience in implementing change in operating environments to help clients become more effective in enabling and sustaining improvement in their organization.

David’s professional experience began with the DuPont Company, after receiving a degree in Chemical Engineering. After initial assignments as an engineer, he embarked upon a management career track. His career with DuPont included a variety of assignments in different business units and at different sites across the U.S., primarily manufacturing operations and is an experienced leader with diverse background and solid understanding of business priorities.

His responsibilities in DuPont usually drew on his technical background and included Project Engineering, Maintenance and Construction, Quality Management and Customer Support.

   

His management roles typically involved focusing operations and/or business organizations to develop and implement process improvement programs that improve customer satisfaction. David is results-oriented, with extensive experience in planning, organizing and implementation of quality improvement and process improvements in an operations environment. He has a demonstrated ability to lead diversified groups, including customers, to achieve measurable business objectives. He has experience in the implementation of TQM, Six-Sigma, and Continuous Flow Manufacturing (a.k.a. Lean Manufacturing). His leadership experience includes Human Resources Management and Labor Relations.

David is a founding director of the Center for Self-Organizing Leadership™. The mission of the Center is to provide tools, guidance and ongoing support to develop inherent leadership capabilities of individuals and make today’s organizations more sustainable. The Center provides working knowledge of self-organizing leadership through coaching, individual development and learning events.
